The centre is legislated by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. As an approved provider of an education and care service, 3C Kidz Care’s programs and procedures contribute to the following outcomes for each child:

• The child will be connected with and contribute to their world

• The child will have a strong sense of wellbeing

• The child will be a confident and involved learner

• The child will be an effective communicator

Whilst these five outcomes are ingrained in the programming of the service, 3C Kidz Care also ensures we are providing the highest quality care by consistently reviewing policy and procedure in relation to the Victorian approved learning framework: “My Time Our Place: a Framework for School Age Care in Australia”.

This framework outlines a set of guidelines to assist educators to provide children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in life.

The framework contains three inter-strands of Belonging, Becoming, and Being. These strands are closely linked to one of the vision statements of the church – Believe, Belong, Become. These three areas are evident in the centre’s learning outcomes, principles and practice.

3C Kidz Care is registered as a care provider with Centrelink, making our services even more accessible to families. Parents can claim their Child Care Benefit percentages to reduce fees and can also utilise the Family Tax Benefit Scheme to claim the cost of Outside School Hours Care services. Our friendly staff regularly discuss these options with parents and are happy to point them in the right direction as to finding out their entitlements for OSHC care.
